Junior Achievement

The Fifth Annual Junior Achievement Financial Literacy Conference was held Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Lorain County Community College. Lorain County students in grades 4 through 12 were invited to participate in the scheduled activities. Representing the Lorain Digital Academies was middle school student Victoria Hardnett.  The event, which was held from 9 am to 1:30 pm, included conferences on Pay Day, Money Management, Credit Awareness, and Savings & Investing.  The day ended with a lunch and social exchange among other students at the conference.  Junior Achievement sponsors several events through out the year and LDA students are encouraged to attend.  Watch for announcements in your school news mailbox or in future online newsletters.
